Team Biographies

Paul Dickson FCII - CEO

Paul is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and founded Dicksons in 1986. His insurance career started with the National Coal Board’s pension fund, CIN Properties, in 1973. In 1977 Paul joined Lloyd’s Broker Towry Law as an assistant account handler. He went on to become the youngest Divisional Director, at the time, with responsibility for the Head Office commercial broking team, which looked after large national and multinational clients. Paul left Towry Law in 1986 and set up Dickson Insurance and in 2008, Dickson Financial Services Ltd.

Andrew Britt CertPFS - Business Development Manager

With 18 years industry experience (11 years with Dickson) Andrew has a sound corporate background and has been a key contact for many of our corporate clients during this time. As Dickson Financial Services evolves Andrew’s role is integral with our strategy of developing strong working relationships with new and existing UK and International businesses. Andrew also holds the Mortgage Advice Qualification (MAQ).

Gina Bartley DipPFS - Senior Financial Adviser

Gina has been working in the Financial Services industry for 20 years. She has over 9 years service working as an Independent Financial Adviser with the Dickson companies. She has obtained the CII’s Diploma in Financial Planning. Her qualifications include FPC1, FPC2, FPC3, G10, G20 and G60. Gina is currently studying towards the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. Gina is our Pension Transfer Specialist.

Deborah Botha Cert CII - Head of Group Risk

Deborah has been in the industry since 1982 and joined Dickson Financial Services at the beginning of 2009 after working 7 years with a leading Group Risk Provider. Deborah heads up the Group Risk products and services - which includes Group Income Protection, Group Life Assurance, Group Critical Illness and Group Private Medical Insurance. Deborah is also responsible for our Service Charters that lead our Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) initiatives.
